At Chipstead Bowling Club, we are pleased to welcome new members of all generations to enjoy a fun sport that is healthy, good exercise, and offers the chance to make new friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

At the heart of our countryside setting, we have a superb 6 rink bowling green and a fully licensed bar in our very own clubhouse.

For all new members, we offer FREE introductory sessions with FREE use of the equipment. If you have never played before, we have qualified friendly coaches available to walk and talk you through the game. You can come along and practice during our casual roll-ups while you pick up some tips, receive helpful advice and encouragement, and most of all, have fun!

If you are an experienced bowler you will also be made very welcome. Our coaches will be delighted to help you improve your technique or you can simply just come and enjoy yourself.

A “Bowls Buddy” will be there to meet and welcome you on your first day. They will show you around, support you and give you a familiar friendly face to approach with any questions you have about the club or the game.

For our playing membership we can offer:

• Club competitions
• Men’s, Ladies’, mixed and open bowls leagues
• County & national competitions

If you would rather relax and watch, we have a social membership with fun events organised in the clubhouse such as quiz nights, games nights, Friday Night “Sausage Sizzle”, and our very popular annual race night. We also have a darts team in the local winter darts league.
